How do I send money to my own or another child's Kidfund?

In order to send money to your own or another child’s Kidfund, you’ll need to link a funding source. You can navigate to your funding sources in the main menu by tapping “SETTINGS” and then “FUNDING SOURCES.”

Currently, we offer our community the ability to send money for FREE from a linked CHECKING ACCOUNT via ACH (Automated Clearing House). To link your CHECKING ACCOUNT as your funding source, you will need to select your bank name from a list in the Kidfund app and enter your bank account login information (the username and password that you use to access your checking account at your own bank online). If your bank is not listed, you can verify your CHECKING ACCOUNT by entering its routing and account number. Please note that verifying by using your login information is instant where using your routing and account number takes 2-3 days to process.

This information is encrypted and sent directly to our payments partner, Dwolla, strictly for identity verification purposes and to your bank for authorization. It is neither stored on our servers nor accessible to us at any time.

By popular demand, we will be adding credit/debit payments options soon!
